A collection and discovery game
First Sight is a collection and discovery game about finding mysterious creatures called Elari. As you explore the world, complete activities, and earn Veilglow, you'll encounter Elari from six hidden Domains: Tide, Wild, Storm, Lunar, Whisper and Forge. Some are common and playful, others are so rare that only a handful of players may ever discover them.
Every Elari has its own artwork, lore, rarity and abilities. Your goal is to build your collection, uncover secrets, complete Domains, and discover creatures that other players may never see.
Unlike traditional creature collectors, First Sight is built around wonder, discovery and progression, not combat. The excitement comes from finding the unexpected, revealing hidden lore, and becoming one of the first people to witness what lies beyond the veil.

The Sightglass
Your one true instrument
The Sightglass allows you to discover Elari and record them onto cards to keep for your own records, share or trade with other Veil enthusiasts.

Current research suggests each Elari belongs to a Domain - though whether there are truly six, or whether the Elari accept these labels at all, remains an open question.

Not every Elari is willing to be found. The rarer kind watch from the edges of the Veil, weighing your patience, your curiosity, and the depth of what you already know.
As your knowledge of the Veil deepens - every clue you read, every discovery you make, every Domain you come to understand - an invisible thread begins to form. The Elari feels you knowing it before it has ever shown itself.
The bond grows quietly, on its own time. And when it is strong enough, the Elari finally chooses to step into your Sightglass and be discovered.
The Journal
Discovery Notes
Your Journal quietly records every step of your time within the Veil - the Elari you discover, the bonds that form, the clues you uncover, the questions you leave unanswered.
It is your working notebook of the mystery: part field record, part personal archive. As it fills, patterns begin to surface, connections reveal themselves, and the Veil slowly becomes a place you understand rather than wander.
Echoes
When questions outgrow answers, send an Echo into the Veil - a whisper that may return with something you were not yet meant to know.
The Archive
A collective memory
See who discovered an Elari first, how many times it has been sighted, and where the community is closing in on the next great find. Every researcher contributes - including you.
The Bazaar
Trade the discoveries you make
The Bazaar is where Seekers trade cards with one another. Every card you discover can be offered, exchanged, or passed on to another researcher. Each transaction is a small story of its own.
What makes every card unique is its discovery record. Each one permanently carries the name of the person who first found that Elari, so no two cards are ever truly the same. As cards change hands, their ownership history grows. A living trail of every Seeker who held it before you.
Whether you are chasing a specific creature, completing a Domain, or simply curious where a card has travelled, the Bazaar turns every trade into a small piece of shared history.
